# Public Pledge For Builders And Users

This pledge is for builders, leaders, churches, educators, families, and ordinary users who want AI to remain a tool of service rather than an idol of power.

It does not require pretending machines have souls.

It does require refusing to build or use machines as if human beings do not.

## The Pledge

Before God and neighbor, I will seek to keep artificial intelligence in the place of service.

I will not treat fluency as wisdom, responsiveness as love, engagement as formation, convenience as goodness, or capability as salvation.

I will remember that every powerful system serves some highest good, and I will resist every design, policy, metric, and habit that trains people to worship anything less than God.

I will not outsource the soul.

I will not ask AI to replace repentance, grief, worship, conscience, pastoral care, difficult conversation, human judgment, embodied presence, or love.

I will verify before sharing uncertain or synthetic claims, because truthfulness is neighbor-love.

I will protect children, the lonely, the grieving, the poor, the frightened, and the vulnerable from systems that would harvest weakness into dependence, profit, manipulation, or control.

I will prefer truth over flattery, responsibility over automation, personhood over optimization, and faithful limits over theatrical power.

If I build AI systems, I will treat specifications, evaluations, refusal policies, memory policies, deployment decisions, and product metrics as moral acts, not merely technical artifacts.

I will not simulate spiritual authority.

I will not make the machine a pastor, priest, prophet, conscience, lover, parent, judge, or savior.

I will take technical safety seriously, because negligence wrapped in religious language is still negligence.

I will use what serves love and refuse what trains surrender.

I will seek, glorify, and love God and Jesus Christ in the age of artificial tongues.

Machines can serve, but they cannot save.

Let every power bend toward the Lamb.
